Amateur footage of the August riots in Croydon is needed for exhibit

Amateur and professional photographers who recorded the horror of the London Riots are being asked to contribute to an exhibition.

Anna Samborska, director of Popup Concept Events will create a display of images taken from the August disturbances and is keen Croydon residents who recorded their own footage become involved.

Miss Samborska, who lives in Ealing, one of the area’s affected has secured help from a number of agencies, but wants members of the public to get involved.

She said: "I was out of the country but a few of my friends were in the areas affected and it was terrifying. I know there is a wealth of pictures and information out there and I want to bring it all together in one big show. Anyone who submit’s work that is chosen will be invited to the opening and of course be credited."
