A pair accused of conspiring with deceased reggae star Smiley Culture to supply cocaine, have been found guilty.
Lloyd McCalla, 51, of Dagenham, and Carlene Wilson, 27, of Ilford, both pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to supply cocaine, but were found guilty by a jury at Croydon Crown Court on Friday January 27.
McCalla's son Ryan, 30, had already pleaded guilty to the charge.
During the trial the court heard the pair were part of a scheme, run by Smiley Culture, real name David Emmanuel, which saw the drug transported from the Caribbean to the UK.
Mr Emmanuel was on bail for conspiracy to supply cocaine when he stabbed himself through the heart during a drug raid at his home in Warlingham, on March 15, last year.
Remanding both defendants in custody until sentencing, Judge Heather Baucher said: "I want to make it clear this is a very serious offence, it was a massive quantity of drugs.
"A custodial sentence is inevitable in this matter."
All three defendants will be sentenced at Croydon Crown Court on February 10.
