A 31-year-old prison officer has been found guilty of having a relationship with a convicted teenage murderer.
Emma Beard, from Feltham, had the liaison with Danny McLean, 18, from Thornton Heath, who stabbed Shakilus Townsend to death in July 2008 over a love rivalry.
The married mother of four, was found guilty on November 4 of misconduct in a public office after engaging in a sexual relationship with a serving inmate at Feltham Young Offenders Insitution where she worked.
Beard was bailed to return to Isleworth Crown Court for sentencing on December 3.
McLean, a member of the Shine My Nine gang, was sentenced to a minimum of 15 years in prison for murdering 16-year-old Shakilus of Tanners Hill, Deptford.
