Cops on the hunt after reports of gunman in Warlingham

Police have swamped Warlingham after reports of a gunman walking the streets.

Officers from Croydon Police and Surrey Police have teamed up to locate the man after a member of the public called in saying they had seen someone carrying a firearm.

Armed officers, as well as dog units, closed off side roads and combed the area however no sightings of the alleged gunman have been made since the initial report.

Police cars have been spotted patrolling outside of the Good Companion pub and near Hamsey Green School.
