The parents of murdered Coulsdon student, Meredith Kercher, are due to arrive in Italy for the verdict of her murder trial.
Arline and John Kercher flew to Perugia today to see the jury deliver its verdict on whether or not Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito were involved in their daughter’s murder.
Drifter, Ivorian Rudy Guede, 22, has already been convicted of the murder and sentenced to 30-years in prison.
However, he launched an appeal in November, protesting his innocence claiming he had been on the toilet at the time of her murder.
Miss Knox, Miss Kercher’s house mate, and her ex-lover Mr Sollecito are accused of murdering the Coulsdon exchange student in the house she shared with Miss Knox in November 2007.
Miss Knox’s defence lawyers have described her as “naive, weak and fragile.”
A verdict is expected either later today (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday).
