A special school and a library in Croydon have been shut as a result of the two-day council worker strike which started yesterday.
St Giles special school in Pampisford Road, South Croydon, has closed for both days and Norbury library is shut today.
A Croydon Council spokeswoman said levels two and three of the central library are also closed.
While insisting that "there will be minimal or no impact to most council services", she said there will be a reduced service in planning control and at the contact centre for the duration of the industrial action.
