Rehab singer Amy Winehouse spat into packed audience of fans during her latest gig a national newspaper has reported.

According to The Sun, fans who paid £33 each to watch the recently married star were left bemused by her antics during her concert at the Eden Project on Tuesday night.

The paper, which recently launched Wino Watch - where readers can help chart Amy's hard living lifestyle, writes that the star slapped herself in the face and hit her head repeatedly while on stage.

Fans also claimed Amy forgot the lyrics to her own songs, and uttered a host of profanities.

Horrified music lovers said she spat into the crowd before dropping her microphone and walking off.

Amy, who married Blake Fielder-Civil earlier this year, has cancelled a host of appearances in recent weeks claiming exhaustion.

The former Brit school student has won a host of awards this year for her album Back to Black and it hotly tipped to pick up the Mercury Music Prize.
