Man taken to hospital after being hit by car in Purley
A man was taken to hospital after being hit by car in Purley.
Police and paramedics were called to Brighton Road, near the Purley Cross junction, at about 9.15am.
A man was taken to hospital following the collision, a police spokesman said.
His in juries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A temporary road block was put in place and buses were diverted while emergency services dealt with the incident.
No arrests have been made.
