Residents across south London and north Surrey will today wonder what grave sins they committed to deserve yet another day of underwhelming weather.
It’s going to be cloudy, rainy and not particularly warm on this midsummer Wednesday, with temperatures hitting a ceiling of 15 degrees in the late morning.
But then, according to the Met Office’s forecast, dark clouds will threaten overhead all afternoon.
And – joy of joys – it will probably rain at some point between 5pm and 8pm.
Oh, and it will be windy too; at around 1pm winds will tickle the 20 miles per hour mark.
