A young dancer and her troupe are delighted to have got through to the Britain’s Got Talent final even though Harry Potter took a tumble during the live semi-final.

Dance group Entity Allstars performed a set inspired by J K Rowling’s books during which the boy wizard fell on his back while attempting a back flip on Monday night.

Undaunted, the 20-strong dance troupe including Chaise Miller, 14, from Cromwell Road, Worcester Park, are now back in the studio preparing for the televised final on Sunday.

Twins Francesca and Lydia Passera-Hughes, 15, from Wallington, also belong to Entity Allstars.

Miss Miller’s mother Ella Bowler said the Harry Potter dancer came back from his fall really well and handled the situation like an "absolute pro".

She said: "Nothing fazes them, they’re back in the studio and it’s onwards and upwards. They are just so excited. I have never seen anything like it. They are eager to train."

Ms Bowler, who was in the audience for the semi-final, said she feels very proud of the whole group and was "blown away" with their dance on the night.

She said: "They are amazingly grateful for the people who picked up the phone and voted after enjoying their performance. They can’t believe it."

Miss Miller goes to Glenthorne High School in Sutton at the moment but is due to start at Croydon’s Brit School in September.

Her mother said: "She’s been dancing since she was two and has danced pretty much every day since then."

A few years ago, she took part in a dance workshop and its participants started getting together and performing on a regular basis. Ms Bowler said: "Before we knew it Entity Allstars was formed."

The winners of Britain’s Get Talent will get £250,000 and the chance to take part in the Royal Variety Performance. Watch the final at 7.30pm on Sunday on ITV.
