Children got to grips with some fluffy animals and some not so soft at an afternoon full of fun.
Creatures visiting the youngsters at Purley Youth Project included a snake, spiders, rabbits and a bearded dragon.
There was also a bouncy castle, nail and tattoo art, plant potting and jewellery making.
After having a go on the bouncy castle at the event last Wednesday, April 8, the mayor of Croydon invited some of the children to visit the mayor’s parlour at the Town Hall.
Purley youth Project Juniors meet every Wednesday at the Purley Youth Centre, in the grounds of Purley United Reform Church from 5pm until 7pm.
