Police have issued a fresh appeal over a stabbing in New Addington after the victim returned home from hospital.

The 22-year-old man was knifed repeatedly while sat in his parked car in King Henry's Drive on Wednesday. 

His attacker opened the door of the victim's grey Range Rover and stabbed him "a number of times", police said.

Paramedics and London's air ambulance were called and took the victim to King's College Hospital. 

His injuries were not life-threatening and he has since returned home.

Detectives investigating the stabbing, which happened at about 8.30pm, today appealed for witnesses to come forward.
