A 22-year-old man was repeatedly stabbed in his car in New Addington last night.
Police said the victim was parked in his grey Range Rover in King Henry's Drive at 8.30pm when his attacker, believed to be a man, opened the door and stabbed him "a number of times."
Paramedics took him to King's College Hospital, escorted by a doctor from London's air ambulance.
He remained there afternoon. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
The knifeman ran away.
Detectives today appealed for witnesses.
