Celebrity spotters, get your cameras at the ready.

Filming began at Croydon College at the weekend for a Hollywood blockbuster starring A-listers Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman and Ryan Reynolds.

The college is being transformed into a helicopter landing pad, a fugitive's hideout and CIA headquarters for the shooting of thriller Criminal.

Scenes for the multi-million-dollar flick, directed by Ariel Vromen, are being filmed at the college's Barclay Road campus until November.

The film centres on Costner's psychopathic murderer, who has an intelligence agent's brain implanted into his head and must unravel a mystery to foil a terrorist plot.

Filming began in Croydon on Saturday and will continue until November.

The filming has already made waves. When residents in Kingston tried to photo the set earlier this month an over-zealous security man bobbed and weaved to to try and block any snaps.
