An out-of-control bonfire was extinguished by firefighters last night.
Garden waste and rubbish was being burnt on a large bonfire at the back of a property in Hathaway Road, West Croydon, firefighters from Norbury station said.
Fire crews were called to the property at 6.50pm yesterday.
