A teenager has been charged with attempting to abduct a girl from a Thornton Heath primary school.
The boy, aged 17, was arrested on Thursday after he allegedly tried to take a girl, who did not recognise him, from Beulah Junior School in Beulah Road on July 21.
The youth, who cannot be named due to his age, was remanded in custody to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with attempted abduction.
His arrest followed a police appeal over the incident last month.
