A tram has collided with a car in Croydon town centre, forcing the suspension of services and causing rush hour chaos.
Trams have been suspended between Sandilands and East Croydon following the crash at about 4.30pm in Addiscombe Road.
One witness said tram passengers were "screaming and screaming" following the collision, which is understood to have left people travelling in the car with minor injuries.
London Ambulance Service and the Metropolitan Police are on the scene.
Addiscombe Eoad has been closed westbound, causing road traffic delays.
