The money was grabbed out of the victim's hand
An audacious cashpoint theft has been reported by a bank in Epsom High Street.
A customer was using the cashpoint when a man leant in and grabbed their money at 3.55pm on Friday, April 6.
The suspect then ran off down the High Street; police are looking at CCTV to try and identify him.
Epsom and Ewell Police said: “We advise people to be mindful of their surroundings at ATMs and guard not only their PINs but also their cash and card.
“Though this is a very rare occurrence, it is far simpler to do and prevent than other types of theft and fraud.”
