A man has been taken to hospital after a fire in Twickenham.
Four engines and 21 firefighters attended the scene of a fire this morning (March 22) at a house converted into flats in Cambridge Park.
One man managed to escape the blaze, which destroyed half of a third floor flat, but another had to be taken to hospital by London Ambulance.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 5.50am today to reports of a fire at Cambridge Park, Twickenham.
"We sent a hazardous area response team and an ambulance crew, who took a patient to hospital."
The Brigade was called at about 5.30am and had the fire under control two hours later.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
