A crash involving a motorbike and lorry in Stanley Road has sent a man to hospital.

The crash occurred at around 9.50am this morning. 

One witness said: "The motorbike was crumpled and there was blood on the road."

An Air Ambulance brought the male motorcyclist to a south London hospital.

A spokeswoman for the Met Police said: "Police were called at 9.53am on Friday, November 24 to reports of a lorry in collision with a motorbike.

"A 34-year-old man was taken to a south London hospital for treatment - his injuries are not life threatening or life changing.

"There were no injuries to the lorry driver.

"No arrests have been made."

Teddington Police tweeted that the motorcyclist was "ok".

The incident happened between Hampton Road and Somerset Road, which is closed.

Stanley Road has re-opened after being closed for just over two hours.
