Would you let a group of teenagers wax your body?

How about shave your head?

Well a pair teachers at Oasis Academy Coulsdon have done just that in an effort to raise money for the school's Children in Need campaign.

On November 17, PE teacher Josh Savage raffled off the chance to wax his legs, while head of year 7, Ian Falvey let one lucky student take a pair of clippers to his head.

“I am always overwhelmed with the generosity and enthusiasm of our staff and students each Children in Need day” principal Andy Booth said

“Each year they go above and beyond to raise as much as they can for this great cause.

"I am extremely proud to lead the academy, and never more so than at events such as this."

In total, more than £1100 was raised thanks to the hair-raising affair.
