Struggling to think of what to do this half-term? There is a range of play schemes and activities across Wandsworth to keep the kids entertained.

Wandsworth Council is hosting play schemes at Christchurch Primary School in Clapham Junction, as well as Smallwood Primary School in Tooting.

Admission is £10 for a half day and £20 for a full day.

If you are looking for something different, the Roehampton Youth Club in Holybourne Avenue is holding free yoga classes for 11 to 19-year-olds.

Other activities at libraries in the borough include story times, crafts and games.

The Kimber Road and BMX Skate Park will be open from 12 noon to 6pm throughout half term, and while entry is free children under eight need to be accompanied by an adult.

There will also be a skate park running throughout the half term.

Meanwhile, there are half term family courses that include family learning and a kids’ art club at Putney School of Art and Design in Oxford Road.

At Battersea Sports Centre in Hope Street there will also be a half term programme of activities.

A Family Learning Festival, which runs from October 14 to October 29 at various locations, is being held by the Wandsworth Lifelong Learning Team, including activities such as arts, music, smoothie making and more.

Young people with severe learning difficulties and complex needs are invited to join holiday activities at the George Shearing Centre in Este Road.

The council’s Disabled Children’s Register (DCR) is also hosting half term activities for its members, as well as those who are WAND and WAND+ cardholders.

They can go on free trips to Go Ape, get a half price offer at Flip Out Wandsworth and get the opportunity to see Moana for free at Cineworld.
