A new choir is being launched by the Sutton Music Service as they search for singers in the borough aged between 13 and 18.

They hope to have acquired the members by September this year.

A statement read: “There'll be weekly rehearsals, regular performance opportunities and the chance to get involved in European concert tours alongside our instrumentalists.”

They also said that they are looking for “talented and enthusiastic young singers” and if you were interested you should contact Senior Leader for singing and vocal development, Emily Murphy, on emurphy28@suttonmail.org for an audition.

60 members of the Sutton Music Service are currently in Portugal for the Lisbon International Youth Music Festival.
