Police are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was “aggressively” robbed in broad daylight in Epsom.

The boy was walking along Downside just before 4pm on Tuesday, July 18, when he was allegedly approached by two teenagers who demanded his money.

A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “One of the boys took the victim’s wallet out of his pocket and they then ran off in the direction of Heathcote Road.

“They were seen turning into the National Counties Building Society car park which leads to Burgh Heath Road and Church Street.”

One suspect is described as a black male, 6ft, of a skinny build and aged between 16 and 18.

He has brown eyes, a small thin moustache, with possibly short black hair but was wearing a long sleeved black hoodie over his hear. He wore a black tracksuit bottom.

The other suspect is described as a white male, 6ft, of a skinny build, aged between 16 and 18.

He had ginger/ blonde short curly hair and wore a grey tracksuit top and bottom.
