Ten teenagers have been charged with causing actual bodily harm and intimidating a witness after a lone teenage girl was knocked unconscious in a ‘serious assault’ in Mitcham.
The attack was believed to have been carried out by a group of around fifteen teenage boys and girls next to the Lidl car park in Raleigh Gardens at about 4.20pm on Friday, September 16.
Eleven teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 years old have been arrested so far, with one released on police bail.
Merton police are asking any witnesses to the assault to contact them by calling 020 8649 3039, quoting reference 1411468/16.
