A man in his sixties has been charged with indecently assaulting and raping a young girl at a military rehabilitation centre near Epsom.
George Stephen Wanless, 67, of Belmont Avenue in Oldham, Lancashire, has been charged with nine counts of indecent assault and one count of buggery against two victims, both of whom were girls under 16.
The alleged offences took place at the former RAF Headley Court facility in Headley, near Epsom, in the 1970s and 1980s.
He is due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates; Court at Redhill on Monday, August 1.
