Two people have escaped a house fire in Thorton Heath this morning.
Firefighters were called to Silverleigh Road at 8.32am.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters from Norbury, Mitcham and Woodside fire stations attended.

Part of the ground floor was on fire and firefighters are still at the scene.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
