Murder squad detectives are telling people not to donate to a possibly fake fundraising page set up in memory of Morden murder victim Daniel Young.
Detective Chief Inspector Cliff Lyons, who is leading the investigation into the stabbing of 30-year-old lecturer Mr Young, said they suspect the page to be a fake, and the family has no knowledge of it.

The Gofundme page has already had £580 donated in less than 24 hours and has been shared 70 times online.
Among the people who have donated are former The Bill actor Ben Peyton, who lives in Morden, and people who say they went to school with Dan.
It claims to be set up by a friend called Scarlett Grant-Jones.
Police are now investigating the account used to set it up – initially tracing it to San Diego.
DCI Lyons said: “We need to stop people paying money into it.
“The integrity of this fundraising page is currently under investigation. Do not contribute to this site.”
He said Dan’s family, who live in Devon but have travelled to Morden to identify their son’s body, were unaware of the page.
A 26 year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder and wasting police time has been bailed to a date in early March while investigations continue.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today at St George's Hospital.
Police would like anyone who was in or around Kendor Gardens between 7.50am and 8.15am who has any information about the attack or the suspect to contact the incident room on 020 8721 4961 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
