A father and daughter from Twickenham are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge next month to raise money for charity.
Colin and Hayley Taylor will climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours on May 15 to raise cash and awareness for thr British Skin Foundation.
The pair have faced several setbacks including Hayley, 25, suffering whiplash from a car accident and 50-year-old Colin being hospitalised with hip and back pain.
Mr Taylor said: "Many obstacles have been thrown our way over the past few months but we are not going to let it stop us.
"After being taken to hospital due to having no feeling in my legs and not being able walk and being in absolutely agony with every slight movement around my lower back, people thought I should and would just give up.
"As I am rather stubborn there was no way I was simply going to give up without at least trying to get myself fitter and stronger."
