Make the most of sunny forecast by heading down to the market on the Piazza in Wimbledon Town Centre this weekend.

The monthly market has a Mother’s Day theme with stalls selling jewellery, handmade scented candles and lanterns, and artisan handmade bathroom products.

Shoppers will be able to try what are claimed to be south west London’s best hot dogs and Khanage's award-winning curry, and there will be live music by singer/songwriter Emily Lee.

The market on Saturday and Sunday runs from 11am to 6pm with regular stalls selling hot and cold foods, gifts, original art, books, accessories, toys, homeware and more.

Shoppers will be able to browse the stalls, chill out in a deckchair and be entertained by visiting musicians.

Danielle Cleobury, marketing executive at Love Wimbledon, said: "The market brings life and vibrancy to the town centre.

"The market provides entertainment, activities and a place for people to socialise and shop."
