A man has appeared in court charged with murdering his mother.
Sean Heiss, 30, formerly of The Sheraton at the top of St Mark's Hill in Surbiton, spoke only to confirm his identity when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court today.
He wore jeans and a black jumper.
Margaret Sheehy, known as Margot, was a 58-year-old a worker at software company Intelliflo.
She was found dead at her home in Springfield Road, Kingston, a road behind Kingston University, in June 2012.
Mr Heiss will remain in custody, and will appear at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, January 27.
He will also appear there on Friday, February 6, for a plea and case management hearing.
