The end of British Summer Time is approaching, a gloomy time of year which at least has one positive - an extra hour in bed.

At 2am on Sunday, October 29, the clocks will roll back one hour and you can feel like you’re doing a bit of your own time-travelling (sort of).

If this proves confusing, always remember the saying: 'Spring forward, fall back'.

The return of Greenwich Mean Time means it will get darker in the evenings and lighter in the mornings, but at least you can theoretically fit a bit more sleep in.

The clocks will change again on March 25, 2018.
