Surrey Police are appealing for a man to come forward who may have been spat at, pulled from his car and threatened.

Officers received reports that a driver of a white Kia Sportage approached a dark green car, spat at the window and tried to pull the male elderly driver from the vehicle.

The Kia driver was then alleged to have made threats toward a male witness.

It is believed the incident happened at the junction of Oatlands Chase and Westdene Way, Weybridge, between 4.30pm and 5pm on Friday, May 24.

Officers are keen to identify and speak to the alleged victim and anyone else who saw what happened.

Investigating officer PC Graham Stephenson said: “From the information we have already received this must have been quite an alarming and frightening experience for this gentleman but he has not as yet reported this incident to the police.

“I would urge him or anyone who might have information about his identity to come forward. Similarly I would urge anyone else who was in the area who we have not already spoken to get in contact.”

Information can be passed either to the police directly on 101, quoting reference EL/13/3348, or via independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
