Organisers behind breast cancer charity Walk the Walk are hoping to get the whole family walking to raise money.

The SunWalk, taking place in Battersea Park on July 1, will see hundreds of fundraisers wearing decorated bras and walking around the park to raise money for breast cancer causes.

This year organisers are offering a free child place for every adult who enters, so the whole family can get involved.

Characters from children's TV show Peppa Pig will be joining in to encourage walkers and to keep the youngsters entertained.

Participants can sign up to take part in a 5k, 10k or half marathon challenge, with a tropical theme running this year.

Walk the Walk is famous for the spectacle of thousands of women and men power walking through London and Edinburgh during its MoonWalks at night in brightly decorated bras, and charity organisers behind The SunWalk promises it will be just the same in Battersea.

Fund-raisers are asked to raise a minimum of £100, with a fee of £27.50 for adults.

Nina Barough, founder of Walk the Walk said: "The SunWalk London is more than just a Power Walking challenge.

"Battersea Park will be filled with music and entertainment for all the family.

"We’re thrilled that Peppa Pig and George are joining us to inspire children to take part and have fun, it’s going to be a fantastic day out!"
