The Conservatives remained the majority party in Mole Valley District Council after yesterday's local elections.
The number of councillors representing each political party remained the same as it was before the election, with 22 Tories, 16 Liberal Democrats and three Independent candidates.
In the Leatherhead South ward, Rosemary Dickson won the 889-vote majority for the Tories.

Lib Dem Bob Hedgeland secured the Leatherhead North seat, with 866 votes.
Two of the Ashtead wards - Ashtead Common and Ashtead Park - were won by candidates from The Ashtead Independents, David Howell and Christopher Townsend.
In Ashtead Village Tory Chris Reynolds beat his competitors to receive 1168 of the votes.
