Epsom Common Day, last hosted in 2014, could return this year to coincide with the 400th anniversary of the discovery of Epsom Salts.

A Crowdfunder page has been set up, with the Epsom Common Association, Epsom & Ewell Borough Council, Stamford Ward Residents’ Association, The Lower Mole Partnership and CoProCo working together.

The target is £3,500 which is estimated to cover “fun family activities, live music and animal encounters” as well as an exciting scavenger hunt in the nature reserve.

The day would be hosted on Sunday, July 29, 2018.

Chris M, founder of CoProCo, wrote: “Guaranteed to be fun for all ages, this is a not-for-profit event arranged by volunteers, so every pound raised will go towards the event itself. Please pledge your support!”
