A woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle on the A240 Kingston Road between Ewell and Tolworth.
A witness said the woman had been seriously injured in the crash on December 6.
She said: "I literally had to drive around this lady's head.
"The police and emergency services weren't even there yet, so a lorry tried to protect her by blocking the lane."
The road was closed, causing long delays in the area.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: "Police were called to Kingston Road in Ewell following reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle near to the junction of Ruxley Lane around 2.20pm.
"The pedestrian, a female, was taken to hospital via ambulance. The driver did not suffer any injuries
