A Ewell primary school has officially opened its new building.
A special ceremony marked the opening of The Forest teaching block at Danetree Primary School earlier this month.
Part of the GLF multi-academy trust, Danetree is expanding to four-form entry and has a nursery and early years facility as part of the new development, building of which was completed for the start of term.
The school in Danetree Road was previously a Junior School until September 2016 when it admitted its first Reception children who have now moved into the new building and it has added more than 200 spaces to its roll as a result of the changes.
Acting deputy headteacher Rob Hopkins said: "We are absolutely delighted with the new building. It offers a great environment for our children to learn and has already become an integral part of life here at Danetree,”
