Two teenage boys have been threatened and robbed in an Epsom park.

The 15-year-olds were in the middle of Rosebery Park near the pond when they were attacked by a group of teenage boys and threatened with what is believed to be a knife, at around 11pm on Thursday, October 26..

PC Nick Jull from Epsom Area Policing Team said: “This was a terrifying attack on two young teenagers who feared for their lives and have been left extremely shaken. Thankfully they were not seriously injured but the outcome could have been very different.”

The suspects made off with some cash and a body warmer from the victims.

Two 16-year-olds and a 17-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and have been released under investigation.

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses.

PC Jull said: “I am urging anybody who witnessed this appalling incident or anybody who was in the area around the time of the incident and saw anything suspicious to contact us as soon as possible; any information you have could assist our investigation.”
