Mary Berry's horseradish sauce is being recalled because of an undeclared ingredient.

RH Amar has recalled Mary Berry’s horseradish sauce 160g because it contains undeclared sulphur dioxide or sulphites which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide or sulphites.

A spokesman for the Food Standards Agency said: "If you have bought the above product and have a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat it.

"Contact the supplier initially or as an alternative as this product is sold exclusively to Tesco’s in England, Wales and Scotland return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund."

The affected product is the 160g jar of the sauce with a best before date of September 2018, batch code L7264.
