A zookeeper has created the first ever selfie stick for giraffes.
Becky Apperley-Gawn, who looks after the four Rothschild's Giraffes at Chessington World of Adventures Resort, has created the world's first 'Self-ari Stick'.
After seeing guests struggle to fit the entire giraffe into their precious selfies, Ms Apperley-Gawn has come to the rescue.
With just 1,500 Rothschild's Giraffes left in the wild, Becky and the team at Chessington hope the Self-ari Stick, which is an extendable 6 metres long, will allow visitors to leave with memorable photos, avoiding cropped out heads and poor angles. The stick is covered with leaves – the giraffes' favourite food – to encourage the creatures to come up close.
