Burglars have stolen thousands of pounds in goods from a home in Walton.
The house in Burhill Road was burgled between 11am on April 14 and 1am on April 15.
Thieves broke into the property through a rear door and stole items including valuable paintings, jewellery, a laptop and a grandfather clock.
The owners were not at home at the time and only discovered they had been burgled when they returned.
Detective Constable Brett Harris, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a serious incident where thieves had stolen a number of high value items.
“I am sure someone living in the area must have seen or heard something suspicious and I would urge anyone with any information to contact Surrey Police.”
