Four men threatened a mother and child during an aggravated burglary in West Green, in which a “large amount of money and valuable jewellery” were stolen.
Police are appealing for information about the Embercourt Road incident, which happened at about 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 21.
Four men, believed to have eastern European accents and wearing bomber jackets and baseball caps, were involved, according to Surrey Police.
Detective Constable Victoria Algate said: “These men broke into the victim’s home and acted aggressively towards a mother and her child. No one should ever feel threatened in their own home, so we are urging people to come forward and help us find those responsible for this.
“The burglary happened near the Imber Court Sports Club. You may have been attending an activity, seeing friends or having a meeting, but if you saw anything suspicious in the area, either before or after 7.30pm, please let us know.”
