More than 850,000 people have registered to vote in the Surrey County Council elections.

Surrey goes to the polls tomorrow (Thursday, May 4), with voting taking place between 7am and 10pm tomorrow.

In Reigate and Banstead, 105,392 are eligible to vote – the highest figure of the county’s 11 boroughs and districts.

The number of voters there is almost double those eligible to cast their ballot in Epsom and Ewell (57,727) – the lowest in the county.

Elsewhere, 67,354 voters are registered in Mole Valley, and 98,738 in Elmbridge.

The remaining figures are as follows:

  • Runnymede – 59,954
  • Spelthorne – 75,390
  • Surrey Heath – 66,026
  • Tandridge – 64,144
  • Waverley – 91,403
  • Woking – 73,488

No counts will take place overnight, and all results are expected to be announced throughout Friday (May 5).
