London temperatures set to plummet to below freezing tonight
It's time to get out those gloves and hats as temperatures in the capital are set to drop -2C tonight.
According to the Met Office, it will turn "much colder" with the possibility of snow showers on Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday it will fell "distinctly cold" with a maximum temperature of 3C all day.
We can expect a frosty weekend, with "brisk easterly winds" and further bouts of sleet and snow, although it should remain largely dry and bright.
