The people of Croydon have more affairs than almost any other borough in south London, according to affairs website Illicit Encounters.
The site released its official ‘Infidelity Index 2018’ today and according to the figures, 18,206 people in the borough (4.71 per cent) are using Illicit Encounters to cheat on their significant others.
Croydon sits behind only Richmond in South London, and it ranked as 6th in all of London.
Spokesman for the site, Christian Grant, said: “south London is perhaps one of the most evenly spread out areas of the entire capital when it comes to London.
“Live in Greenwich? Well then it’s cause for celebration. However, just a few miles down the road in Croydon is a hotbed of infidelity, with over 18,000 cheats looking for an affair.
“The lesson here is to pick your partners wisely, and doing so by location might be your best bet if you’re looking to find a faithful and long-lasting partner."
