Trains running through West Croydon may be delayed or cancelled for the whole of today.

The disruption is being caused by a signalling fault. Trains travelling through the station have to do so at a reduced speed.

Network Rail carried out investigations overnight and decided that ‘further testing’ needs to be done.

Drivers travelling through West Croydon need to stop and get verbal permission to pass the signals in the area.

Tickets are being accepted on London Overground between West Croydon/Crystal Palace to Canada Water, although they are also affected by the signalling fault.

They are also being accepted by London Underground between Canada Water and London Bridge as well as
London Buses between Sutton/West Croydon to London via any reasonable route.

Tickets can also be used on South Western Railway between Epsom and Clapham Junction.
