Artists around town will have a chance to shine during a dance festival on October 14.
The Dance Umbrella ‘Origami Challenge’ is being run in partnership with ‘The Big Draw’, with the task to draw, paint or make a model of an aspect of the Origami dance show as it happens.
"This is a really exciting programme," Councillor Timothy Godfrey said.
"Great weather has been specifically arranged so a big crowd at Queens Gardens will have a late summer treat."
Entrants have to supply their own art materials but the competition is open for everyone.
The two performances will start at 1.30pm and 7pm.
