The Croydon Business Excellence Awards 2017 in association with Gatwick Airport is looking for the borough’s best businesses. Entrepreneur of the Year is one of the most hotly contested of the 14 awards categories which recognise and reward the successes and achievements of Croydon’s booming business community.
This award will go to the outstanding individual who displays the entrepreneurial traits of drive, ambition, vision, tenacity, inspirational leadership, inventiveness and confidence.
The judges will also be looking for the ability to overcome barriers, strong financial performance, a clear plan for sustained growth, as well as business innovation and differentiation.
Urging companies to enter, community and events manager at Sussex Innovation Centre Saffron Saunders they want to celebrate the individuals who go the extra mile.
“Croydon has gained national recognition as the fastest growing UK region and these awards are a positive celebration of all the hard work being done to make that a reality. We encourage every company to enter – it’s a fabulous way to reflect on the great work achieved over the past year,” he said.
