The force was strong in Croydon as Forbidden Planet celebrated opening their new store with visitors from a galaxy far, far away...
Representatives from the Empire, including storm troopers, were on hand to marshall the shoppers at the Church Road shop and quash any rebellion.
Looking cooler than the ice planet Hoth were George and Alice Taylor from South Norwood, who dressed as Luke and Leia Skywalker.
